Ericksmoen, John O. (9 JAN 1909 – 09 NOV 1972)
Funeral services were held at 1:30 Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the
town of Longwood for John O. Ericksmoen, 63, of route 1, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.),
who died last Thursday afternoon following a coronary attack while he was
driving his car in the town of Grover, Taylor County.
The Rev. David E. Wenger, pastor of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Greenwood,
officiated, and committal services were in the Immanuel Lutheran Church
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Clayton Micke, Charles Pribbernow, Victor Skaleski, Donald
Rusch, Walter Draheim and William Benzschawel.
Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home in Owen was in charge of the funeral services.
Mr. Ericksmoen was born January 9, 1909 in the town of Longwood, Clark County,
and received his education in Longwood schools. He spent most of his life in
farming in the town of Longwood, and was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran
Church in that township.
He was married August 25, 1936 at Withee, to the former Mildred Tessmer, who
survives him.
Other survivors are two sons, Allan, Moscow, Idaho, and James, Libby, Montana;
and a daughter, Mrs. Tullock (Elizabeth) Magelane, Lexington, Kentucky, and four
grandchildren.
A daughter preceded him in death.
