Lynch, Marie Jeanette (27 December 1922 – 30 July 2018)
Marie J. Lynch, age 95, of Neillsville, WI died on July 30, 2018.
Marie Kubat Lynch’s life started when the Kubat Family sailed to America from
Czechoslovakia moving permanently to the Neillsville area. Marie’s parents
farmed until her father was gorged by a bull and was killed. The family then
moved into town. Marie’s mother was 33 years old when she had her and she was
her first child. Marie’s mother re-married and she gained a sister.
Marie met and married her high school sweetheart Norman Lynch. They were married
Oct. 13, 1942; before Norman was sent overseas to serve his country. They were
married over 65 years.
Marie lived her life in service, praise, and glory to our Lord. Her church
family was at St. Mary’s in Neillsville, where she used to her talents to teach
CCD for many years.
Marie was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Neillsville with many strong ties
to the community. Her strong faith was a lifelong guide that was a beacon that
carried her through the good times, as well as the bad times. Her strong will
and quick wit and keen sense of humor will be missed by all who were fortunate
enough to be in her company.
Marie & Norman enjoyed square dancing around the Wisconsin area and was well
known for making all her own square-dancing outfits.
Marie is survived by: son-Richard (and Carolyn), son-John, and
daughter-Charlotte. Many other relatives, grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
great-great grandchildren and numerous friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Norman, son Lawrence, son-in-law
Adolph, and step-sister Irene.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 4, 2018
at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville. Rev. Varkey V. Joseph will

Choir. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday morning also
