Anderson, Milton (20 SEP 1896 – 30 NOV 1972)
Milton Anderson, 76, of route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), died Thursday
afternoon, November 30, 1972 at his home in the town of Hixon, following a heart
attack.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, December 4 at the Hoeper and Kraut
Funeral Home in Owen, with the Rev. Lester Kringle, pastor of the Missionary
Alliance Church, Owen, officiating. Burial took place at Riverside Cemetery,
Withee.
Serving as pallbearers were Frank Olzewski, Bernard Auberg, C.O. Albert, Art
Petke Sr., Art Petke Jr., and Lloyd Simonson.
Mr. Anderson was born September 20, 1896 in Withee. He received his schooling in
the Withee schools. He was married November 13, 1929, at Stanley, to the former
Jeanette Agin, who survives him. He was employed at the Soo Line Railroad in the
Withee area for 25 years, farmed for a time, and then was employed at Northern
Freeport Silo Company in Withee until his retirement four years ago.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sisters, Mrs. Joe (Alice)
Engelhart, West Allice, and Mrs. Ruth Andres, Milwaukee.
He was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, four brothers, and three sisters.
