Among the 36 students at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls who will be listed in the 1972-73 edition of "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges," is Karla Bacon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bacon, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).

The Who's Who directory, an annual listing of campus leaders from more than 1,000 of the nation's institutions of higher learning, has been published since 1934.

Campus nominating committees and editors of the directory select the students to be included on the basis of academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and future potential.

Karla Bacon is majoring in journalism and English. She is presently the editor of the Student Voice, the UW, River Falls student newspaper.
