Friday of last week the franchise with General Motors Corporation was satisfied,
and on Saturday papers signed transferring the ownership of Bliven
Chevrolet-Pontiac to co-owners, Bernard Auberg and Lester Hansen, Withee, and
Robert Bredlau of Owen.
The firm will hereafter be known as Midway Motors.
Mr. Bliven came here in March of 1963, when he purchased the business from
Bernard Auberg. Bredlau was a former employee of both men, and Hansen has been
in the trucking business locally for many years, and all are well known by the
motoring public.
A reliable source said that Mr. Bliven's plans are indefinite right now, but it
is believed that he will seek another dealership elsewhere.
