Covert, Raymond E. (25 MAR 1887 – 13 MAR 1971)

Terry, Montana – Raymond E. Covert, 83, longtime resident of Terry, died Saturday at the Prairie Community Hospital in Terry, following a short illness.

Mr. Covert was born March 25, 1887 in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), the son of Enoch and Julia Covert. He grew up in Randall, Minnesota, and moved to Lindsay, Montana to homestead.

He was married to Martha May Thompson in Seattle July 25, 1922.

Mr. Covert was a member of the First Methodist Church in Glendive, Montana.

His wife died in 1966. Surviving are one son, David Covert of Terry, and three grandchildren.
