Zion United Church (Confirmation – 30 March 1975)
Kimberly Strebig, daughter of Mrs. Beverly Strebig of Chippewa Falls, and Tami
Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Brown, were accepted into the membership
of the Zion United Church by the Rev. David Logue, at Sunday morning services.
Following the services, guests entertained at the home of Kimberly’s
grandfather, Herman Krause, were: Mrs. Leona Sjoblon of Minneapolis; Harold
Papenfuss of Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Krause, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Krause
and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Soloman Krause, all of Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Neil
Krause of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lindau of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Fetting and Lillie of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kenner and Fred Kenner of
Gilman.
Guests entertained at the Laverne Brown home were Tami’s grandparents, Mrs.
Hazel Helwig and Mr. and Mrs. Arno Decker of Greenwood, and her brother and
sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Brown of West Bend.
