Mrs. Dennis Biddle accompanied Mrs. Sam Borowski and son, Sam Jr., to New
Castle, Pennsylvania, where they attended the funeral of the former's brother,
Carl Detke. They also visited relatives in Milwaukee, Chicago, and Appleton, and
they returned home on Thursday.
Mrs. Nina Duell received phone calls on Wednesday night from her son, George, of
Wooster, Ohio, and on Thursday night from her son, Allen, of Richmond, Virginia,
inquiring about their mother's health.
Diane and Christina Frese of Withee and Ronald and Lynn Frese of Lublin spent
Monday of last week at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Frese.
Louis Malinowski returned home from St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls on
Thursday, where he was a patient for two weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Gale Kelnholz and family of Minneapolis spent the weekend at the
home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Kodl, and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Jensen of
Withee.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Alger and Mrs. Walter Dahm attended the birthday party in honor
of Mrs. Paul Dahm at the Marlyn Dahm home at Boyd on Thursday night.
