Bixby, Deborah Leanne (Marriage – 5 April 1975)

The marriage of Miss Deborah Leanne Bixby and David James Ruggles was solemnized Saturday, April 5, in a 1:30 p.m. ceremony performed at the York Center United Methodist Church by the Rev. Gene Carlson.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Bixby, Rt. 1 Granton. Mr. and Mrs. James W. Ruggles, Rt. 1 Withee, are the groom’s parents.

A pink rose corsage accented the long, white halter dress with hooded jacket chosen by the bride.

Bridal attendant Sharon Hiles, Granton, appeared in a floor length green and pink gown.

Arthur Scheel, Neillsville, was the groom’s attendant.

Following the ceremony, the couple greeted guests at a reception at the Bixby home.

The bride will be a 1975 graduate of Granton High School. Her husband, a 1972 graduate of Neillsville High School, is employed by a local firm.

The newlyweds are living in Neillsville presently and plan a belated November wedding trip to visit her sister and brother-in-law in Virginia.
