Zielinski, Victor (22 OCT 1887 – 5 APR 1971)
Victor Zielinski, 83, passed away April 5, 1971 at Chippewa Falls Hospital of
cardiovascular and degenerative heart disease. Funeral services were held at
Thorp Funeral Home and St. Hedwig's Church Wednesday, April 7, at ten a.m., with
Father Joseph Walijewski officiating. Burial was made in St. Hedwig's Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Fred Hedler, Peter Wnek, Walter Pajak, Charles Deniszkiewicz,
Henry Cieslik, and Leonard Mizerka.
Mr. Zielinski, a retired Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.) farmer, was born October 22,
1887 in Poland. He came to the state in 1904. On July 9, 1913 he was united in
marriage to Lena Holubowicz at St. Hedwig's Church, Thorp.
Surviving are his wife, Lena; one son, Vance Zielinski of Chicago; one daughter,
(Helen) Mrs. Ray Zegler of Chicago; one grandson, Paul Zegler; one
granddaughter, (Rita Rae) Mrs. James Popp; and one great-grandchildren,
Jacquelyn Marie Popp.
