Dudansky, Bertha (25 APR 1905 – 14 APR 1971)
Bertha Dudansky, 65, passed away April 14, 1971 at the Victory Memorial Nursing
Home after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were held at the Thorp Funeral Home Friday, April 16 at 2 p.m.,
with Reverend Robert Olson officiating. Interment was at the East Thorp
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Layton Asselin, William Dudansky Herbert Hermanson, Albert
Phillips, Donald Seaholme (?), and Jerry Teclaw.
The former Bertha Amendt was born April 23, 1905 in Adrian, Missouri. The family
moved to a farm in the Thorp area (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1910.
In 1926 she was united in marriage to Otto Dudansky, who preceded her in death,
May 31, 1962. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adam
Amendt, and one brother, Herbert.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jonathan (Dorothy) Spivak of Washington,
D.C.; one brother, Erich Amendt of Thorp; one sister, Mrs. Mary Kizer of
Liberty, Missouri; and two grandchildren.
Out of town relatives attending the funeral services were: Mrs. Joe Gerts and
Mr. and Mrs. David Sanford.
