Fleming, Betty (Lettner) (1 APR 1930 - 8 AUG 2018)

Betty Fleming, age 88, of Dorchester, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Marshfield Medical Center.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Dorchester. The Rev. Thomas Myhre will officiate. Friends and family are welcome 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Monday at the funeral home in Dorchester. Interment to follow at the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Betty was born on April 1, 1930, the daughter of John and Margaret (Jackson) Lettner in Gibson City, IL. On June 6, 1948, she was united in marriage to Elvin Fleming in Bloomington, IL. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1993.

Betty moved to CA after marriage and then moved to the Town of Hammel in 1966. Betty enjoyed sewing and quilting.

Betty is survived by her four children: Cheryl Underwood of Dorchester, David (Mary) of Withee, Donald of Palm Bay, FL, and Terry of Medford; two step-sons: Stewart of Aurora, SD and Harvey of Waterloo, IA; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by many friends, nieces, nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a granddaughter: Kristy Underwood; a sister: Margie; and two brothers: Richard and Raymond.
