Nolan Dennis Kopecky, 30, Catawba, died on Friday, July 27, 2018 in Kalispell,
Mt.
He was born on May 5, 1988, in Hayward, WI, the son of Mark and Janice Kopecky.
He spent most of his life in the Catawba area. He attended and graduated from
Phillips High School, Class of 2006. He served his country in the U.S. Marine
Corps He then attended and graduated from Wyoming Technical College. He married
Sally Edwards on July 14, 2007, in Phillips. He served his country in the U.S.
Marines from 2006 to 2010, serving a tour in Irag and Afghanistan. He was the
owner of Kopecky Skidding. Kalispell, Montana.
In his free time he was a member of the KC Clovers 4H, the Catawba-Harmony Fire
Department, and the New Alexandria Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife Sally, by his Mother Janice Kopecky, by his Father
Mark (Linda) Kopecky, by 3 brothers: Jacob (Jessica) Kopecky and Ryan (Amanda)
Kopecky, and Caleb Kopecky. by 2 sisters: Kendra and Emily Kopecky, by 6 nephews
and 1 niece.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Rose Marie Kopecky, Irene and Harvey
Kopecky, Betty Edwards, his uncle Howard Kopecky and by 1 cousin Jessica Rose
Hermus.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at
St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Catawba, with Pastor Jason Enderle
officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at the
church until the time of the service. Military Honors will be conducted by the
United States Marine Corps.
