Grisham, Jean (1937? – 15 JUL 2018)
Jean Grisham, 81, Albertville, Ala., formerly of Loyal, passed away on Sunday,
July 15, 2018, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
She was born to Hienie and Vi Newman in Loyal. After graduating from high
school, she worked in Milwaukee for four months and then joined the U.S. Air
Force as a flight attendant. She served for 3 1/2 years. She married and had two
children, Frank (Melissa) and Kipp. She divorced and married the love of her
life, Corky Grisham. They had one daughter, Andrea (Dwayne). Corky was in the
Air Force and they were stationed several places. Jean worked for the civil
service and retired after 19 years. Upon her death, she gave her body to
science, specifically the medical school at the University of Alabama in
Birmingham.
She is survived by her husband, Corky, and children, Frank and Andrea; a sister,
Kay Schaefer of Marshfield; a brother, Jack (Joanne) Newman of Nekoosa; five
grandchildren: Brock, Emily, Katy, Kyle and Jon; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kipp; her parents; her brothers:
Jerry, Jon and Paul; and a sister, Karen.
She loved the Lord.
