Thieme, Mr./Mrs. Franklin (Silver - 15 JUN 1969)
Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Thieme observed their 25th wedding anniversary Sunday,
June 15, 1969, with an open house at their home in Colby (Clark Co., Wis.).
Among guest were two of the attendants at their wedding, Clarence "Bud" Nelson,
Abbotsford, a brother of Mrs. Thieme, who served as best man, and Mrs. Leon
(Blanche Genrich) Chapman of Alma Center, who was a bridesmaid.
The Thiemes have four children, Rodney and Robert, at home, a married daughter,
Mrs. Brent (Geraldine) Bower, Gages Lake, Illinois, and James, who is serving
with the Air Force. He is stationed in New Mexico, and was unable to be home for
the occasion.
On Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Thieme were surprised with a dinner party at
Casa Grande. Arrangements were made by their son-in-law and daughter, Brent and
Geri Bower, who were home for the weekend. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Brent Bower,
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Decker, and Mr. and Mrs.
Seymour Gustafson.
