Henchen, Agnes H. (12 May 1905 – 10 April 1975)
Mrs. Clarence (Agnes) Henchen, Sr.,69, of Osseo, former Greenwood resident, died
April 10 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, where she had been admitted ten
days before.
Mrs. Henchen, the former Agnes H. Minsaas, daughter of John and Bulia (Mortenson)
Minsaas, was born May 12, 1905, in the Town of Beaver. She was married November
10, 1923, in the Globe Lutheran Church and lived in this area all her life.
Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Victor (Doris) Diercks and Mrs. Andrew
(Clarabelle) Djubenski of Greenwood; five sons: Robert and Arthur of Greenwood,
Clarence, Jr., of Loyal, Delmond and Ronald of Chetek; 16 grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren; two brothers: Paul and Julius Minsaas of Greenwood;
four sisters: Mrs. Ida Tetzlaff of La Crosse, Mrs. Palmer (Enga) Nelson of
Couton, S. D., Mrs. Mattie Hanson of Neillsville and Mrs. Laura Adams of
Moorehead, Mn.
Funeral services were held Monday from Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenwood. The
Rev. Douglas Groenewold officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
