Miss Kathleen Steffen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Steffen of Granada
Hills, California, formerly of Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.), and granddaughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Steffen of Abbotsford, received a number of honors at the
commencement exercises at James Monroe High School June 20, 1969.
Graduating with a class of almost 1,000 students, Miss Steffen received three
trophies, one for Lady of of the Year, one for the outstanding Letter girl, one
one for sportsmanship. She also received an award certificate for the services
to the track and field team as official scorer for all year.
Miss Steffen, an A student, plans to attend the San Fernando State College and
major in mathematics, with physical education as a minor.
