Laird Youth Leadership Foundation (Winners - 1975)
Gary B. Lukes of Neillsville High School, Kevin A. Steiner of Granton High
School and Deborah E. Craig of Greenwood High School, are among 12 winners of
Laird Youth Leadership Foundation scholarships, it was announced Tuesday.
The scholarships may be used at any school in the nation the recipient chooses
to attend and range from $1,000 to $2,000. Selection was based on scholastic and
leadership capabilities, as well as need for financial assistance, according to
John M. Potter of Wisconsin Rapids, foundation president.
Lukes is the son of Mr. and Mrs. henry Lukes of Neillsville; Steiner is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Steiner of Granton, and Miss Craig is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Craig of Willard.
