Cronin, James Russell (18 April 1908 – 9 April 1975)
James Russell Cronin, 66, of Greenwood died April 9 at his home of an apparent
heart attack.
Mr. Cronin, son of Patrick and Anns (Hillman) Cronin, was born April 18, 1908,
in Greenwood. He was employed in Illinois from 1950 to 1969, when he returned to
Greenwood.
He was married June 11, 1943, in the Town of Warner, to Neveline Brown, who
survives. Other survivors are four sisters: Mrs. Owen (Margaret) Williams of
Glendive, Mt.; Mrs. Gertrude McCann, Mrs. martin (Rosella) Zickert and Mrs.
Phillip (Anna) Vollrath, all of Greenwood.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood.
Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. David Logue, pastor of Zion
United Church, officiated.
