Burkholder, Marian B. (9 MAY 1970 - 25 AUG 2018)

Marian B. Burkholder, age 48, of Greenwood, passed away at her residence in the Town of Longwood on August 20,2018.

Funeral services will be at.9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the Longwood Mennonite Church. Bishop Alvin Martin, Marvin Leid and Edwin Nolt will officiate. Burial will be in Longwood Mennonite Cemetery. Matthew, Landis, Paul, Jason, Cleason and Curvin Burkholder will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018, at her residence at W6960 Popple River Road, Longwood.

Marian was born on May 9, 1970, in Leola, PA, the daughter of John Jacob and Katie N. (Burkholder) Zimmerman. Her marriage took place on September 9, 1993, in Leola, PA, to Ezra Z. Burkholder. Together they farmed in the Town of-Longwood. She was a member of the Old Order Mennonite at Longwood, Groffdale Conf.

Marian is survived by her husband, Ezra Z. Burkholder; children: Marie, Karen, wife of Delvin Lamar Nolt of Thorp, Katie, Timothy, Laverne, Elaine, Regina, Kalvin, Christine and Marcus, all at home; one grandchild, Riley James Nolt; her parents: .John Jacob and Katie N. Zimmerman. She is further survived by her sisters: Anita B. I Zimmerman of Lebla, PA and Ellen B., Wife of Reuben S. Burkholder of Greenwood; mother and father in-law: Phares J. and Lydia M. Burkholder of Greenwood; brothers in-law: Allen Z. Burkholder and Edwin Z. Burkholder husband of Lucy H. Burkholder; and a number of nieces and-nephews.
