Mitte, Joy Marie (Marriage – 19 April 1975)
Marriage vows were exchanged Saturday, April 19, in Manitowoc by Miss Joy Marie
Mitte of Neenah and Frank John Zeman of Menasha. The Rev. Glenn Unke, pastor of
Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony for the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mitte, Manitowoc, and the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank C. Zeman, Kellnersville.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride is the granddaughter of
Neillsville residents, Mrs. Gus Carl and Mrs. Clara Mitte.
Miss Cindy Mitte, Manitowoc, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Judy
Mitte, Manitowoc, and Miss Joyce Zeman, Kellnersville.
Attending the groom were Zachary Zeman, Fond du Lac, as bestman and AFC John
Zeman, Baudette, Mn., and Gary Saver, Kellnersville, as groomsmen. Guests were
seated by Roger Carl, Neillsville and Russ Steeber, Kellnersville.
Special music included the selections “O Perfect Love” and “The Lord’s prayer.”
Kohlbecks’ Riverview Inn, Reifs Mills, was the setting for a reception.
The new Mrs. Zeman is a 1971 graduate of Manitowoc Lutheran High School and a
1973 graduate of St. Agnes Hospital School of Radiologic Technology, Fond du
Lac. She is employed as a radiologic technologist at Theda Clark Memorial
Hospital, Neenah.
Her husband graduated from Reedsville High School in 1967 and from St. Agnes
Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in 1969. He is a radiologic
technologist at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Appleton.
Following their return from a wedding trip to Florida, the couple, will live in
Menasha.
