Dassow, Joyce (21 JUN 1969)
The marriage of Miss Joyce Dassow and Walter Graffunder took place at Christ
Lutheran Church, Abbotsford on Saturday, June 21, 1969 at 7 p.m., with Rev. F.H.
Sprengler officiated at the double ring ceremony.
Miss Dassow is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Schulte of rural Abbotsford
(Clark Co., Wis.) and Mr. Graffunder’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Gerhardt
Graffunder of route 2, Medford.
Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Graffunder of Abbotsford, serving
as best man and matron of honor.
The bride chose a gown of white linen and Venice lace, in floor length, with a
chapel train. A nylon illusion elbow length veil was secured to a linen circular
pillbox accent with pearls. She carried an orchid floral arrangement.
The matron of honor wore a pink A-line skimmer of karate and Venice lace.
Organza petals in two clusters and sprays formed her headpiece. She held a
single deep pink rose.
Following the ceremony a wedding reception was held at the Abbotsford City Hall,
and a dinner was served at the church basement. The couple will be living at
Abbotsford.
