Kennedy, Anne Louise (14 JUN 1969)

Miss Anne Louise Kennedy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion E. Kennedy, Vancouver, Washington, and David Lee Schultz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schultz, Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage at 8 p.m. Saturday evening, June 14, 1969 at Memorial Lutheran Church, Vancouver, Washington. Rev. Winfred Schroeder officiated at the ceremony.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was seen in a full length gown of Chantilly lace, which opened in the front to reveal an empire bodice and A-line skirt of peau de soie. The gown was completed with a chapel train of Chantilly lace. Her bouffant veil was attached to a French halo cap. She carried a bouquet of white Fuji chrysanthemums and ivy streamers.

Mrs. William Siems of Pullman, Washington was honor attendant. Her chartreuse gown featured an A-line skirt and a daisy trimmed high necked bodice. She carried yellow Fuji chrysanthemums.

The bridesmaids, Pamela Bishop and Jean and Christine Kennedy, both sisters of the bride, were dressed identically to the matron of honor and they carried white chrysanthemums.

Kenneth Schultz, Colby, was best man for his brother, and ushers were George Downs, Portland, Steven Fink, Albert Lea, Minnesota, and James Cook, Rhode Island.

Assisting at the reception in the church parlors were Capt. Jane Kennedy, Wichita Falls, Texas, Mrs. Marie Pederson and Mrs. Eldau Drew, Vancouver, Washington, and Mrs. R.T. Lau of Stockton, California, all aunts of the bride.

Joan McIrvin and Kathleen Kennedy, small cousins of the bride, served the groom’s cake, and Mrs. Marion Kennedy Jr., Mrs. J.W. Pankowski, Vancouver, and Miss Erica Potter, Sydney, Australia, took charge of the guest book.

The newlyweds visited several beaches on their honeymoon and are now at home at 3-A Kamiak Apartments in Pullman, Washington. The bride attended Lyon University, Lyon, France, Clark College, and Washington State University.

The groom, a graduate of Colby High School and Wisconsin State University, continues his studies on the Master’s degree he will receive later this summer, and will begin work on his doctorate in food science at Pullman, Washington.
