Venzke, Emil (20 MAR 1889 – 08 JUL 1969)
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow, July 11, 1969, at 2 p.m. at
Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Milan (Marathon Co., Wis.), for Emil Venzke of
route 1, Abbotsford, who died early Tuesday morning at the Marshfield
Convalescent Home. Rev. David Schroeder will officiate at the funeral services.
Burial will be made in the Milan Cemetery.
Lulloff Funeral Home is in charge of funeral services.
Emil Venzke was born in the town of Holton (Marathon Co.) on March 20, 1889. As
a young man he homesteaded in Terry, Montana, for about four years before
returning to the area in 1914. On June 9, 1915 he married Lydia Jurgenmeyer at
Milan. The couple farmed in the town of Johnson until 1956, when they retired
and moved back to the farm in the town of Holton, where he was born.
