Miss Kathleen Timm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Tim of route 1, Colby,
married Ralph Hackel, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hackel, also of route 1,
Colby, at a 1 p.m. ceremony in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colby. Father Frank
Rushman married the couple.
Mrs. Richard Raddatz of Wausau was the matron of honor. The brides matron was
Mrs. Doreen Hackel of Falls Church, Virginia.
Serving as best man was Kenneth Hackel of Colby. Timothy and Steven Altschwager
of Menomonee Falls, and Ervin Hackel of Colby completed the wedding party.
The bride wore a floor length lace and bombazine dress with silk and lace train
and a bouffant veil attached to a bridal headpiece. She carried yellow daisies
and yellow tipped carnations.
The bride'a attendants wore floor length gowns of yellow and white, and carried
yellow daisies.
A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the home of the groom's parents.
That was followed by a dinner in the church hall.
After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and into Canada, the couple will be at
home in Milwaukee. Mr. Hackel is employed at International Harvester there,
while Mrs. Hackel works for Milprint, Inc.
The groom is a 1965 graduate of Colby High School. The bride is a 1068 graduate
of the same school.
