Maslowski, Elizabeth (24 JUL 1913 – 27 APR 1971)

Funeral services were held Friday morning at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church for
Elizabeth Maslowski, 57, who died April 27, 1971 at St. Joseph's Hospital in
Marshfield.
Mrs. Elizabeth (Sopiarz) Maslowski was born on July 24, 1913 in St. Paul,
Minnesota. She moved with her family to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1919, where
she spent her childhood years. In 1933 she went to Chicago, where she was
employed until her marriage to Anton Maslowski on April 21, 1940. Five years
later Elizabeth moved to the Thorp area with her husband, where they resided on
a farm until her death.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Anton of Thorp; five children, Virginia of
Milwaukee, Lawrence of Mukwonago, Edward Oconomowoc, Frank of Eau Claire, and
Lorraine at home. Also surviving are: four sisters, Mrs. Felix (Mathilda)
Zukowski of Gilman, Mrs. Quenten (Helen) McHaffey of Chicago, Mrs. Ted (Valerie)
Lupinski of Thorp, and Mrs. Don (Delores) Jensen of Eau Claire; and four
brothers, Edward of Toledo, Ohio, John of Thorp, and Joseph, Leon, and Walter,
all of Chicago.
