Urban, William J. (15 AUG 1895 – 2 MAY 1971)

William J. Urban passed away May 2, 1971 at the Colonial House of Colby at Colby Wisconsin.

William Urban was born August 15, 1895 in Lithuania. In the year 1913 and at the age of 18 he came to the United States and lived in Chicago, Illinois. In the year 1922 he was untied in marriage to Anna Sneider. In April 1920 they moved to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), where they farmed until 1867 when they moved to the city of Thorp.

William Urban leaves to mourn, his wife, Anna; two sons, William Mr. Urban of Lena, Wisconsin and Lawrence J. Urban of Milwaukee; three daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Bernice) Stegwel of Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. Ray (Eleanor) Halagera of Chicago, Illinois, and Mrs. Leon (Sophie) Klugiewicz of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and 12 grandchildren. Besides his family he leaves to mourn three sisters, all who live in Lithuania.

One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
