Anderson, Annie (18 OCT 1896 – 14 MAY 1971)
Mrs. Annie Anderson, age 74, resident of Stanley (Chippewa Co., Wis.), passed
away Friday evening at 9:30 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
She was born October 18, 1896 in the Town of Worden, Clark County, daughter of
Ole and Susan Johnson. She has been a resident of the Stanley area all of her
life. On November 11, 1917 she was united in marriage to Charles Anderson, and
after their marriage they farmed in the Town of Worden until about ten years
ago, when they moved to Stanley. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran
Church, Stanley, the Norse Mission Aid, and the County Line Club.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; four sons, Leonard, Charles Jr., and
George, all of Stanley, and Arnold of Thorp; three sisters, , Mrs. Mabel
Peterson of Stanley, Mrs. Edith Lukon of Chippewa Falls, and Mrs. Lula Larson of
Bayfield, Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one brother and one sister.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church,
Stanley, with the Reverend Carl W. Peters officiating. Burial was made in the
East Side Cemetery there.
