Bielecki, Stanley (10 APR 1893 – 15 MAY 1971)
Stanley Bielecki, 78, passed away May 15, 1971 of a heart attack. Funeral
services were held at St. Hedwig's Chapel on Tuesday, May 18th, 10 a.m., with
Reverend Joseph Walijewski officiating. Burial was made in St. Hedwig's
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Henry Cieslik, Tom Polnaszek, Andy Strzok, Edward Kotecki,
Joseph Czech, and Edward Depa. Color Guards were Harry Badzinski and David
Mamayek.
Mr. Bielecki was born April 10, 1893 in Poland, coming to the states in 1911,
residing in St. Louis, Missouri for a eyar and a half, then came to the Thorp
area (Clark Co., Wis.), and resided on a farm in the Town of Worden and Town of
Withee. He served in World War I. On November 11, 1919 he was united in marriage
to Bessie Brzezinski at St. Hedwig's Church. In 1950 they retired from farming
and moved to the city of Thorp.
Surviving are two sons, John Bielecki of Hammond, Indiana, and Louis of Thorp;
one daughter, (Lillian) Mrs. Donald Thomas of Connecticut; and two brothers,
John Bielecki and Frank Bielecki, both of Thorp.
