Pawlicki, Marcie Marie (1 MAY 1971)

St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Lublin was the scene for the 2 p.m. double ring ceremony when Marcie Marie Pawlicki exchanged vows with Dale John Boie. Father Casimir Paul performed the ceremony on May 1, 1971.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pawlicki of route 2, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Norval Boie of route 2, Stanley.

The bride wore a floor length gown designed in the Victorian manner, empire style fashioned of acetate taffeta, artfully touched with acetate and nylon lace. Ribbon accented lace panel created a demure bibbed effect atop demi bell skirt. Soft Bloused sleeves with delicate lace inserts flowed to the wrists. Generously full attached train gathered up to floor length.

Mrs. Theresa Bielecki, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were: Mrs. Pawlicki and Carol Polnaszek. They all wore yellow floor length gowns with puffed sheer sleeves. The boat neck was accented with floers. It was bowed and streamered in back.

The bride carried white daisies and the bridesmaids carried a basket of yellow daisies.

Best man was Joseph Bielecki, and groomsmen were Raymond Pawlicki and Bill Stasilla.

Duane Boie and Gary Losiewicz were ushers.

The mother of the bride wore a blue rayon chiffon sleeved dress with a coat of lace over paneled from cowl collar to hem. The groom's mother wore a pink and white lace effect A-line dress. Both wore matching corsages.

A reception was held at the Quonset Hall, with a dance that followed.

The bride is presently employed at ITT Thorp Finance Corporation and the groom is employed as a carpenter in Chippewa Falls for Gibbs Construction.
