The Secretary of Army Informed Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Burzynski of route 2, Stanley, that their son, Specialist Four Raymond E. Burzynski, was wounded in action in Vietnam on June 4, 1971, when the area came under attack by a hostile force.

Raymond E. Burzynski was promoted to Specialist Four in the month of May. Another son, Leonard F. Burzynski was promoted to Airman First Class in the month of May also. He is stationed at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma.
