Wojt, Stefania (7 NOV 1889 – 6 JUN 1971)

Mrs. Stefania Wojt, 81, passed away June 6, 1971 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley. She was born November 7, 1889 at Forest Park, Pennsylvania to Rovalia and Joseph Rutkowski. They moved to Denning, Arkansas, where she later was married to Adam Wojt, who passed away in 1960.

She is survived by (Harriet) Mrs. Frank Tomkowiak, (Josephine) Mrs. Joe Kozenka, Thorp, (Edna) Mrs. Stanley Cereby, Northlake, (Wanda) Mrs. John Cukla, Melrose Park, (Rose) Mrs. John Filipek, Chicago, Victor and Anton, Thorp, Joseph, Eau Claire, Adam, Chicago, Edward Anacortes, Washington, 23 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.

One son, John, died while in the service of our country, in 1943. A sister, Verna Bartosiewicz, preceded her in death.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Robert and William Kozenka, Roger and James Wojt, Kenneth Wojt, Ron Empen.

Relatives from out of town included Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wojt, Anacortes, Washington, Dr. Carol Kennedy, Lorton, Virginia, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Cereby, Kathy Powers, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Empen, Northlake, Mr. and Mrs. John Cukla, Melrose Park, Mr. and Mr.s John Filipek and Marily, and Mr. and Mrs. Adam Wojt, Chicago.
