Mr. and Mrs. William Butek flew to Pomona, California last Friday morning to
attend the college graduation of their son, Billy, when he graduated from The
California State Polytechnic College of Engineering on Saturday, June 12, 1971.
They spent a week there, and while there, they attended many other points of
interest like; Disneyland and Knots Berry Farm, and also took a fishing trip on
the Catalina Island in the Pacific Ocean. They were also met there by Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Butek of Franklin Park, Illinois, and spent a few days with them.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Benzschawel Sr., Joan and Dennis, returned home on Wednesday
from a two week trip to Turnwater, Washington, visiting at the home of their
son, Frank, and family, and other places of interest.
Mr. and Mrs. Galen Misfeldt entertained relatives Wednesday evening at a supper
in honor of their nephew, Todd Misfeldt, from Los Altos, California, who is here
on vacation.
Jerome Hansen and sons, Scott and Bradley, spent Thursday evening at the Walter
Bohn home, and drove Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bohn to Rochester, Minnesota, where
Walter had a checkup and X-rays on Friday.
Mrs. Francis Pagel of Milwaukee called at the Walter Bohn home Saturday
afternoon.
Jerry Teclaw and Steve Budzinski left Tuesday on a ten day trip to Florida, and
up the East Coast. They will visit Jerry's uncle and family, Mr. and Mrs. Earl
LaFlex, in Jacksonville.
