Louella Luedtke, a Dorchester native who graduated from Colby High School, has
returned to her home area to serve as Abbotsford’s new deputy clerk-treasurer.
After being hired as a temporary worker at city hall, Luedtke was promoted to a
permanent full-time position on June 18. Prior to taking the job in Abbotsford,
she worked for eight years in the village of Edgar, first as deputy clerk for
four years and then as interim administrator for another four years.
Luedtke, whose maiden name is Umlauft, said she still has a brother and sister
living in the Dorchester area. She now lived in Schofield with her husband. They
have three adult children and seven grandchildren.
