Preliminary plans were recently unveiled for a new Fine Arts Community Center n
Medford. A committee of interested citizens, music teachers, art teachers and
performing arts representatives have been working on the plans for over a year,
after determining the need for such a facility.
The architectural firm of McMahon and Associated in Menasha put their ideas into
a floor plan and artist’s rendition of what the facility might look like. These
blueprints and renderings will be on display for public viewing this week at the
Taylor county Fair in the 4-H Exhibition Building. They will also be on display
at a kickoff event during the performance by the popular music group Kids From
Wisconsin on Friday, August 20 in the Medford Area Middle School Auditorium.
