The potato crop is in danger. Some fields of early potatoes have been almost destroyed by the combined attacks of Tip burn and the Apple Leaf Hoppers.

Let us spray.

The remedy for the leaf hopper consists of a spray made of nicotine sulphate (Black Leaf 40) using 1½ teaspoonfuls to a gallon of water. Fine times as much soap as tobacco solution should be added to the water.

The weather of the past two weeks has been conductive to late blight on potatoes. What are you going to do about it?
