Louise Linzner was very badly cut on one leg and Walter Haenel and Miss Gleidel
were somewhat cut about the face and legs, in an auto accident which occurred
around midnight, Thursday near the Gust Reimann farm a mile north of M.
Frank Brandner, the other occupant of the car driven by Haenel and Sidney
Anderson, driver and sole occupant of the car which collided with Haenel’s car,
were not injured.
Herb Curran, Taylor county traffic officer, who investigated the accident with
Sheriff Charles J. Stellick, states that it occurred just before the heady
down-pour of rain that night. Anderson was going south; in attempting to pass
two other cars going south, he collided with the Haenel car which was going
north.
