Limback, Marie Lillian (Fuelberth) (14 NOV 1921 - 17 AUG 2018)

Marie Lillian Limback, 96, formerly of Abbotsford, passed away at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at Stoney River Memory Care in Marshfield.

She had been residing at the Colby Retirement Center in Colby for five years and later residing at Stoney River Memory Care in Marshfield for the past one and one-half years.

She was born Nov. 14, 1921, in Cincinnati Township, Tazewell County, Ill., to Henry and Sophia (Horn) Fuelberth. She was baptized, confirmed and married at St. John’s (Sand Prairie) Lutheran Church in rural Green Valley, Ill. She married Wilbert M. Limback on Oct. 20, 1946. He died June 2, 1992.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Rosella Lutz and Florence Krannich of Pekin, Ill., and Bertha Roskamp of Manito, Ill.

Surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Limback moved to Wisconsin in 1958. She and her husband were dairy farmers for 34 years in the Mayville area near Abbotsford.

Before moving to Wisconsin, she was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Manito, Ill. At the present, she was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Abbotsford.

Her graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito, Ill. The Rev. James Batchelor, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Manito, Ill., will preside.

Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin, Ill.
