81st annual Merwin family reunion held August 5.

The 81st annual Benjamin P. Merwin Family Reunion was held Sunday, August 5, at Doepke Park, Rib Mountain.

A total of 67 family members gathered together throughout the day reminiscing with each other. They enjoyed a potluck lunch at noon followed by the annual meeting, and the annual White Elephant sale.

Jean Romang of Medford was the oldest family member present at the age of 94. She is very proud that of the 81 reunions. She has attended all but two or three of them.

Family members present were: Randy and Joan Baptist; Tina and Mason Eklund; Deb Knudsen; Lee and Carolyn Smith; Darlene Zietlow and Mark Zoromski, all from Wausau.

Margo Engebretson, from Schofield; Renee Falstad, from Tomahawk; Ron and Kim Fiet, from Rothschild; and Linda Salzman, from Weston.

Jerry and Jean Fitzgerald; Jay, Pam, Rae and Max Kangas; Rich, Carrie and Kyle Miller; and Gayle, Brittney and Meagen Nechuta, all from Mosinee.

Roy and Pat Boneske; Terry, Anne, Bianca and Landon Boneske; Nick, Amanda, Amia and Kiriana Boneske; Randy Sr. and Kathy Boneske; and Allan and Susan Venzke, all from Athens.

Richard and Kathy Boneske, Ben Boneske, and Marr Boneske, all from Colby; Rob and Ann Gust, from Edgar; Julie Chaplinski, from Rib Lake; Denise Jacobs, from DePere; Hugh and Diane Jones, from Rhinelander; Dave Loucks, from Abbotsford; Ken, Rachel, Coy and Carol Loucks, Westboro.
