Burzynski, Mr./Mrs. Frank R. (Silver – 2 MAR 1971)

Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Burzynski, Route 2, Stanley (Chippewa Co.), Wisconsin, were honored on their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 19, 1971, at their farm home. About two hundred guests were in attendance. The event was sponsored by their six children, who are: Airman First Class Leonard of Tinker Air Force Base of Oklahoma, Specialist 4 Raymond, in the Army in Vietnam, James, David, Donald and Julia at home.

The yard and home were festive with beautiful peonies, roses and iris.

Mrs. Burzynski greeted their guests wearing pastel blue crepe dress with three-quarter pastel blue lace sleeves to match, with a corsage of pink roses with silver trim, and Mr. Burzynski a boutonniere of pink rose with silver trim.

At 3:30 p.m. the Reverend Roman Misiewicz, pastor of St. Mary's P.N.C. Church of Lublin. Wisconsin, gave the couple a Silver Anniversary blessing in the presence of their relatives and friends.

Frank R. Burzynski and Anna Sarna were married on March 2, 1946 at Saint Mary's P.N.C. Church at Lublin, Wisconsin, with the Reverend John Palaszewski officiating. Their attendants were: Mrs. Eugene (Sylvia Tross) Leary of Fairbanks, Alaska; Mrs. Bernie (Frances Burzynski) Stievang of Manley, Wisconsin; flower girl Mrs. William (Katherine Knoepfl) Poull of Port Washington, Wisconsin; Edward Burzynski of Monongahela, Pennsylvania; Edward Tross of Lombard, Illinois.

In charge of the guest book was Mrs. Edward Tross of Lombard, Illinois.

A buffet luncheon and refreshments were served with tables were attractively decorated.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Burzynski opened their gives and gift of money. The afternoon was spent in camera and movie taking.

Out of town guests include: Mrs. Anna Tross and, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Tross and Judy of Lombard, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Burzynski and Mary Anna of New London, Wisconsin; Bruce, Nick and Dennis Pawlak of Chicago, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Burzynski and Edward Jr. of Monongahela, Pennsylvania; Mr. and Mrs. John Skovers and family of Pulaski, Wisconsin; Reverend Roman Misiewicz, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Novak of Lublin, Wisconsin; Mr. and Mrs. Chester Shilts of Talent, Oregon, and Dr. Sharon Bradfield and son of Los Angeles, California. Other guests were from Gilman, Boyd, Stanley, Thorp and Tomah.

In March 1956 they took over her her parents, which is the third generation.

Mrs. Frank R. Burzynski is a member of the Ladies Society of Saint Mary's P.N.C. Church, and is the reporter for The Helping Hand Club and Brownville Happy Hour Club, Saint Sunshine, Chairman of the Helping Hand Club.

Frank R. is a member of the County Fish and Game Committee, and works on the Otter Lake Project for 15 years and was County Supervisor for N.Y.C. boy and Girls, and also Green Thumb, and at present he is supervisor for Chippewa County on the Dam on Otter Lake Flowage. For 10 years he was truck hauler for Forest Products and was on the School Board for 14 years of Brownville School. He is a Veteran of World War II and Liberated on May 5, 1945, where he was eight months a prisoner of war, of the three years in service.
