At 1:30 p.m. on June 19, 1971, Kathleen M. Keating and Robert J. Cance were joined in marriage at Saint Bernard Church in Thorp. Officiating at the ceremony was Reverend Francis Brockman.

The maid of honor was Vicki Stenner of Fennimore, and the bridesmaid was Susan Keating, sister of the bride.

The best man was John Cance of Chippewa Falls, and the groomsman was Tom Cance of Stanley. Both men are brothers of the groom.

After the mass, a reception was held at the Thorp Legion Hall.

Parents of the bride and groom are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Keating of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cance of Stanley.

The couple is at home in Chippewa Falls.
