Wall, Gloria Jean (3 JUL 1971)
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Withee, was the scene for the marriage of
Miss Gloria Jean Wall and Dan Christopher Gibbon on Saturday, July 3, 1971.
Harold Miller performed the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wall, Lublin (Taylor Co., Wis.),
and Dr. and Mrs. Russell Gibbon, Ashland.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a floor length empire styled
bridal gown of imported organza, fashioned with baby doll sleeves and a high
neckline. Venice lace traced the A-line silhouette highlighted by a sweeping
chapel train. Her bouffant veil of sheer bridal illusion secured a white daisy
cluster. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses, stephanotis…(a line
was missing from the artile)….satin streamers with rose buds.
Mrs. Bonnie Dembraski was her sister's matron of honor, and bridesmaids were:
Judy Molle and Mollie Ryll, friends of the couple. They wor floor length empire
styled dresses of aqua organza, styled with Juliet sleeves and high necklines
accented with Venice lace. Harmonizing veils secured a floral cluster, and each
carried colonial bouquets of pink rosebuds, white carnations and satin streamers
with rosebuds.
Attending the groom were Walter Dembraski as best man, and groomsmen were Jack
Dembraski and Larry Wall.
A reception and supper were held at Koolmo's, Gilman, where a dance was held in
the evening.
They will make their home at 228 S. 3rd Street, Medford, where both are employed
at the Junior High School, the bride as a secretary and the groom as a science
teacher.
