Miss Andrea Shuk and Paul Kuehni were married Saturday, June 26, 1971 at the
Holy Family Catholic Church, Stanley. The Rev. Donald Berg officiated at the
1:00 p.m. ceremony. Nancy Kasbel (?) was the organist and Connie Hendrickson the
soloist.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Shuk, Stanley, and Mr. and Mrs.
Albert Kuehni, Boyd.
Linda Shuk, Eau Claire, was the maid of honor for her sister, and bridesmaids
were Jeanette Grubs and Karen Waldecker, Marshfield, friend, and Jane Schnabel,
sister of the groom.
James Mahr, a friend of the groom, was best man,a nd groomsmen were Rodney Shuk,
brother of the bride, Ken Blazel, a friend, and Ken Schnabel, brother-in-law of
the groom. Ushers were Don Smith and Kenneth Gindt, cousins of the couple.
A reception was held at the American Legion Hall, Thorp, following the wedding,
after which the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin.
They are making their home at509 W. Arnold, Marshfield. The bride is a graduate
of the Stanley-Boyd High School and St. Joseph's School of Nursing. The groom
was graduated from the Stanley-Boyd High School, served with the U.S. Army for
two years, and is employed as a meat cutter at Parkway North, Marshfield.
