Drescher Oil Co/BP Celebrates (Anniversary - 2018)
Joel and Marla Raine celebrated Aug. 23 and 24 with a customer appreciation and anniversary event in recognition of being in the current Drescher Oil Company/BP building for the past 20 years. The Raines purchased the business in 1990 from Marla’s parents, Art and Addie Drescher. In 1998, construction was completed on the new building. Andrea (Raine) Kruschke surprised her parents with arranging to have a family photo taken Aug. 24. “We were wondering what was happening when all our children and grandchildren walked in unexpectedly,” said Marla. “We are so grateful for the business and the support of this community.” The anniversary/appreciation event included special pricing, product promotions and raffle prizes.
