Taylor, Barbara (1953? – 19 AUG 1971)

Barbara Taylor, 18, route 2, Boyd (Chippewa Co., Wis.), died at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire late Thursday, after being injured in a tractor accident Tuesday on County Trunk Highway G, near her home.

Miss Taylor reportedly fell off a platform at the rear of a tractor being driven by Dale Bergman, Boyd, and struck her head on the black top road. Three other persons riding on the same platform were not injured.

Miss Taylor was taken to her home following the accident, and her family summoned Anderson Ambulance service in Augusta. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where she died two days later.

Bergman and Miss Taylor were to be married November 19, 1971.
