Adolph Czech of Hannibal flew to Atlanta, Georgia July 29 to visit his sister
and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Fraase. Mrs. Fraase is the former Sylvia
Czech. On July 31 he attended the wedding of their daughter, Karen, to Mr. Chris
Kirkman. On August 2, he began a return trip by car with Mr. and Mr.s Fraase and
five of their children, Steve, Mark, Clifford, Roxanne and Paul.
Dick and Clara Mock of Chippewa Falls visited at the Emil Welzien home on
Wednesday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Stan Krznowski and family of Mosinee visited at the Adolph Koltis
home on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gwiazda attended the wedding of the latter's niece, Earlene
Wachsmuth, at Koolmo's Ballroom, west of Gilman, on Saturday.
Surprise guests at the home of Mrs. Sumiec were her son Joseph and Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Krych of Chicago, Mrs. Frank Jastrzemski and son Allen, also were at the
Sumiec home, and then Mrs. Jastrzemski and son visited with her mother and
father, Mr. and Mrs. Sobolewski at Stanley.
Miss Joan Frenette was honored with a dinner and a shower from her girlfriends
from the ITT Thorp Corporation last week.
