Golat, Henry P. (26 OCT 1931 - 11 SEP 2018)
Henry P. Golat, 86 of Conrath, died on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Care &
Rehab, Ladysmith.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, 3 sons, Harry of Bruce, David and
Christopher both of Ladysmith, 1 daughter, Patricia of Minneapolis, 8
grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services for Henry Golat will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 14,
at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Deacon Craig Voldberg officiating.
Burial will be in the Conrath Cemetery. Visitation for friends and family will
be from 4 until 7 PM on Thursday, September 13 at the funeral home in Ladysmith
and again on Friday from 10 AM until service time at the Funeral Home.

Henry P. Golat, 86, of Conrath, died on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 at Care &
Rehab-Ladysmith.
Henry was born on Oct. 26, 1931, in Conrath, to Chester and Anna (Kosirowska)
Golat of Krakow, Poland.
He married Barbara L. Miller on Nov. 29, 1952 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic
Church in Ladysmith. She survives along with their four children, Harry (Sue) of
Bruce, David (Sue) of Ladysmith, Patricia of Minneapolis and Christopher of
Ladysmith; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a
great-great-granddaughter.
He farmed, worked on the Soo Line Railroad for 42 years and was involved in the
Grant Town Board, County Board and the Historical Museum. He was involved in the
building of Conrath Villa and was in the business of Allis Chalmers with his
brother, Ed.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings, Jean, Tony,
Walter, Louis, Olga, Ed, Mary and John.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 14 at Nash-Jackan
Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Deacon Craig Voldberg officiating. Visitation for
friends and family will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13 at the funeral
home in Ladysmith and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until service time at the
funeral home.
Burial will be in the Conrath Cemetery.
