Frenette, Joan Marie (13 AUG 1971)
Miss Joan Marie Frenette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Frenette, Thorp
(Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of William G. L'Heureux, son of Mr. and Mrs.
William L'Heureux Sr. of St. Paul, Minnesota, on August 13, 1971 at St.
Bernard's Catholic Church, Thorp. Father Francis Brockman performed the two p.m.
marriage ceremony. Robin Huls was organist and Gabrielle Reyzer the vocalist.
The bride wore an ivory satin gown. Seed pearls decoated the applique rose
design. Her short veil was held to a crown of seed pearl design.
Mrs. Leon Bogumill, Thorp, was matron of honor, and best man was Carlos Garay.
Mass servers were brothers of the bride, William and Jeffrey Frenette.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Leon Bogumill.
The bride attended Thorp High School and Patricia Stevens, Marquette University.
She has been employed by ITT Thorp Corporation. The groom attended St. Paul
Senior High and is a U.S. Navy veteran. The groom is employed with American Can
Company and they will make their home in St. Paul, Minnesota.
