Baldeschwiler, Mr./Mrs. Fred (Gold – 13 SEP 1971)

This month Mr. and Mrs. Fred Baldeschwiler celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Their marriage vows were renewed at the 10:00 p.m. mass at the Sacred Heart Church in Jim Falls, with Father Welger officiating.

Mr. Fred Baldeschwiler and Mamie Kugel were married September 13, 1921 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Stanley. Mrs. Joseph Kugel, mother of the bride, was also present.

They have two children, George, Jim Falls, and Mrs. John Wagner (Marian) of Greenwood. The 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren were also present.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Baldeschwiler farmed until their retirement, fifteen years ago, in the Town of Worden in Clark County.

A reception was held in the church basement from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Two of their attendants were present, Mr. Charles Baldeschwiler of Eau Claire and James Kugel of Abbotsford.

Out of town guests were from Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago, Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Stanley, and Minneapolis.
