Pawlicki, Anton V. (13 MAY 1883 – 15 SEP 1971)
Anton V. Pawlicki of Lublin (Taylor Co., Wis.), died Wednesday evening,
September 15, 1971 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, where he
had been admitted earlier in the day.
He was born May 13, 1883 in Chicago, Illinois to Valentine and Minnie Pawlicki,
and attended Immaculate Conception Parochial School in Chicago.
Mr. Pawlicki married Miss Maryann Kiersznowski on May 11, 1911. The couple lived
on a farm near Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) until retiring in 1960. They then moved
to Lublin, where he lived until the time of his death.
Survivors are: his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Louis (Clara) Gunia of Loyal,
Mrs. Steve (Lottie) Losiewicz of Thorp, and Mrs. Leon (Wanda) Sandel of Thorp;
16 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. He has a brother, John, and a
sister, Helen, both of Detroit. He was preceded in death by one daughter and two
sons, one brother and four sisters.
Services were held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in
Lublin, with Father Casimer Paul officiating. Burial was made in the parish
cemetery. Pallbearers were all grandsons.
